Learning How to Actually Do Things 📘

Found a tutorial that finally made something click for you? Or maybe you're looking for one that doesn't waste your time? Either way, this is the place.

We're collecting tutorials that actually teach you how to do specific things. Not "introduction to JavaScript" for the millionth time, but "here's how to implement user authentication in Next.js step by step." Not "basics of design," but "how to create a color palette that doesn't look like a toddler picked it."

When sharing tutorials, give people context. Is it beginner-friendly or does it assume you already know React? Is it a 30-minute read or a 2-hour video course? That kind of info helps people figure out if it's what they need right now.

If you've written a guide about something you figured out the hard way, share it here. Teaching something forces you to really understand it, and others benefit from your experience. Even if it's just a quick blog post or a screen recording of your workflow.

Also comment on tutorials you've tried. Did it actually work? Was anything confusing or outdated? Tutorial quality is all over the place – your feedback helps people find the good ones and avoid the ones that waste time.

Try to tag stuff clearly so when someone's searching for "how to deploy to AWS" or "CSS Grid tutorial" they can actually find relevant stuff quickly.

Building a library of tutorials that don't ****.
